GUWAHATI: The Assam government on Thursday claimed it has been able to draw the attention of industry captains to the first-ever global investment summit to be held in Guwahati on February 3-4.
The event will be inaugurated by Prime minister Narendra Modi.
Assam industry minister Chandra Mohan Patwary stated that industry leaders like Ratan Tata from Tata Group, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Group of Industries, Dilip Shanghvi of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd, Anand Burman of Dabur have shown interest in taking part at the event.
Besides Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman Essel Group and ZEE, Amar Abrol Air Asia India, Rashesh Shah Chairman Edelweiss, Sushil Goenka Managing Director Emami Group, Sanjiv Puri of ITC Limited are also among possible participants. Read more
